We all have that pair of shoes, that high maintenance pair we step out in every once in a while to remind ourselves why we've been admiring them perched in our closets all this time. But this spring, the low wedge promises not to be that shoe. The versatile Metallic T-Strap Sandal by Prada (Linea Rossa Collection) quickly takes a bare-legged look from day to night, offering a little bit of height with a manageable heel.

You can find them for $370 at Neiman Marcus Online.

Last week we wrote about Cork showing-up in the latest Spring designers from Louboutin to Manolo Blahnik. It was no coincidence that Today's picks were in our favorite color **and** accented with a lovely cork heel. You can find these Prada Platform Wedge Sandals at Downtowngal Shoes for $169.99 (Retail $499).

In years past, the Prada "Sport" line (identified by the red Prada stripe) has been thrown under the bus for sub-par quality as compared to the "regular" Prada line. Interestingly enough the only difference was the styling and **not** the actual quality...consumers made the presumption that because the "Sport" line was less dressy - it was not as well made. With the new name of "Linea Rossa", Prada is looking to upgrade the perception of the old "Sport" line, by producing more stylistic/formal designs.

These black patent Slingbacks from the new Spring '08 Collection, certainly prove to us that Prada is trying to change the image of the Sport Collection to something a great deal more.

What do you think?

I never thought I would see the merge of "goth" with high-fashion, but these Miu Miu (Prada sister company) Mules have come as close as any. The metal studs with the heavy-duty rubber tread sole will be certain to please those that love to wear black or dark clothing.

PradaFarewell to stick straight, it’s all about curves. As you may have noticed one of the most-important trends of the season, especially for spring 2008, is the inward-curved heel. We’ve also heard it referenced by other names, like hound’s tooth and banana heel. All name calling aside, this is one of the more interesting heels we’ve seen in a few seasons. It’s inconspicuously trendy, so anyone used to wearing heels and hoping for a little edge can certainly pull this look off. Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and every major fashion mag is highlighting them, and designer labels like Christian Dior and Prada are obviously all over the trend.

Take it one step further, look for the curved heel with a platform too. If you’re still hanging onto your holiday bonus, Christian Dior in Beverly Hills has a pair of pumps with crystal encrusted heels and ivory satin uppers that are truly gorgeous.
